Check Up!
He didn't make a single noise after the first shot and then came the second and there was just a quick whimper and the third was just a little frown. He was a champ!
He was 15lbs 6.5 oz and 27 inches long! So 50th percent on weight and off the charts in height. He's going to be a TALL boy!
Last week I had thought he was getting a cold so I took him into the Dr on Friday and everything looked great. Well, yesterday during his check up she said that his right ear looked a little dull and she noticed him play with his ear. She said it looked to be the start of an ear infection so we go in tomorrow (Friday) morning to have it re-checked. He hasn't been fussy or anything out of the ordinary today so I'm thinking its nothing to worry about.
But here's the BIG news!!!!!!!!
KOHEN HAS ROLLED OVER!!!!!!!!! No one saw the first time. He was laying on his stomach and the next time my mom looked, he was on his back! I've witnessed him do it twice in the last week, but we still can't get him to do it for Derek, so we'll keep trying, and hopefully get some video. :)
Hope everyone enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather today!!

To skip back a couple weeks; My first Mother's Day was great! We participated in Baby Dedication at church and were able to have all the grandparents there and a set of Great-Grandparents. Preslee was also dedicated and it just made me realize how many things she and Kohen will be able to do together being close in age. I would post pics but I dont have any on my computer or camera... :(
Derek also did an amazing job putting thought into a Mother's day gift. I got a facial, massage, dozen roses, chocolate cake, and the best part; a card with WRITING IN IT! a First! :)
Kohen has learned how to stick out his tongue and its hillarious! He also blows bubbles, and does 'Raspberries'. We went shopping with Heather (as usual! lol) and Preslee's bow fell off so of COURSE we had to try it on Kohen.... I think his face explains how he felt:

We also went to the Rooster Days Parade that weekend. Ellee had a blast clapping along to the bands and kept making sure Kohen was watching!

Since the Weather has been nice, we've been trying to spend more time outside. We've taken Kohen and Ellee to the park twice (and once with Miss P too) and Kohen LOVES to be outside and feel the breeze and just relax.

He tends to be a LITTLE bit spoiled and loves to cuddle and be held. Well, when we are out running errands or around the house cleaning, it tends to get a little hard to hold him and still be able to use my hands so this week I invested in a HotSling. It's AMAZING. I had tried the front carriers and the Infantino Sling and neither really worked for us but our new one is great!!!
Here's a pic of the one I got:

We go to the Doctor on Wednesday for a Well Check and shots so I'll update with Kohen's weight (which has probably DOUBLED since we went last) and all the other good stuff. :)
Hope everyone is having an amazing week!

Happy Boy!
He has begun the adventures of rice cereal.... we are still at the stage of basically giving him milk with a spoon, but I'm thinking I will make it a little thicker tonight and pictures WILL be posted. :)
He has a whine / small cry that makes him sound like he is saying 'Momma'. It makes me sad because he only does it when he wants something or is upset, but I like to pretend that he is specifically asking for his Mom!

so I had to share these that I got! He's a HAPPY boy and LOVES to flirt!Today was Kohen's second Diaper Yoga class. We go to Natural Lullabies once a week for a 6 week session. Kohen has ALREADY made himself a girlfriend. She was born a day before him, in the same hospital. So we've concluded that they remember each other from birth!
It's hard to get their heads to roll the right way because they are constantly staring at each other making the other laugh, smile and of course drool.
We still don't have ANY signs of him rolling over, but we learned some great things in class today to promote his rolling. I've been trying to make sure he gets enough tummy time and even lay on his back time. :) It's just hard because we LOVE to cuddle!
His bibs come in VERY handy during the day. It's almost become part of his outfit because he is always drooling. We usually go through a couple shirts a day!
He likes to wear his 'necklaces' though. :)
Well that's all we have from our GROWING boy! Hope everyone has survived all the rain! :)
