Thursday Derek's Grandpa Richard (who shares his birthday with Kohen) came into town and we convinced him and Derek's mom to go with us to the Aquarium. Derek and I have been wanting to go for awhile and Kohen is becoming VERY observant so we thought it would be fun.
Here are the 3 Boys:

One part of the aquarium has a big round tank with Big fish that all seemed to be swimming in a circle. We stood Kohen up on the edge and he LOVED watching them swim, he was laughing at all the fish until a REALLY big one swam by extremly close to the glass and Kohen jumped back, so grandma had to hold him.

I think he has awhile before he'll catch up with the Alligar (I think thats what they are called)
There is an open top tank with StingRays and you can buy 'fish food' which is just Shrimp to feed them. Grandpa Richard decided that Kohen needed to learn how to feed the fish and showed him how to hold onto the pole. He thought it was pretty fun, but in the second picture he looks WAY too much like a 'Big Boy'. :(
And don't worry.... the Purell was in full force this day! haha
I'm glad we went to the Aquarium, but to be honest I thought it was going to be a lot bigger (especially for the Price!). On the way there Derek told me they had the biggest bullsharks in captivity. Well when I think of a Shark I'm thinking 'Jaws' size. . . . especially when they're the 'BIGGEST IN CAPTIVITY'. I was sad to see sharks no longer than I am tall. lolIt was great spending time with family and getting to see new things (many which disgusted me, including a huge frog). The best part was seeing how excited Derek was that all his Discovery Channel watching came in handy. He knew SO much about all the crazy animals they had there, and he loved petting the animals.

Then we went over to the Riverwalk and treated ourselves to some ColdStone Creamery! YUMMMY! I got Cheesecake with Cherries. :)

And the Nice lady at the Aquarium took a picture of us all together before we left!
