So I need a place to post all the pictures and stories I am going to continue to have of my perfect little boy Kohen!
I guess I should start from the beginning.........
Kohen Timothy Hudson-Leggett decided to make his appearance during an ice storm and was born on January 13th, 2007 at 3:55p.m. He weighed 7 lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long. He had a slight case of Jaundice, but it continues to improve each and every day.
He had his first Doctor's appointment on Thursday and he weighed 6lbs 10 oz and everything checked out ok. We go back to the Dr tomorrow to check on the progress of his Jaundice. I wish I could report that it has already passed, but I can still see a little yellow in his eyes. I am anxoius to see how much he weighs since he has been eating like a little pig! We've had a few problems with nursing but that hasn't stopped him at all. Apparently he thinks Momma's only job is to be his little Milk Bar!
When we first came home from the hospital we had 2 pretty rough nights where he was waking up every 30-45 minutes. He has improved and is sleeping very well at night. He wakes up to eat and then usually falls back to sleep relatively fast! (Now that I said that tonight will probably be horrible! lol)

Today we had our first day out as a family. Derek had the day off and so we went to lunch and to the mall to shop some sales. It was nice being able to get ready and get out of the house. Kohen did really well, except for when it was time to eat. We fixed that problem and he was extremely content! I like to think he's going to be a great little shopping partner. :)

Congratulations and welcome to blogging... its addicting. I started one before Gavin was born to keep our family and friends from out of town updated, then when I had Gavin I decided to start his own blog. You will love having it! Its like a journal of what they are doing every day, month, year! Its fun to look back and see what we were doing when he was born. Kohen is absolutely handsome! When Gavin gets better we should have a play date!
Grammy thinks Kohen is precious.
